About the Retreat
We’re bringing our signature skate and surf retreats to one of the most epic spots in Europe and ultimate skate and surf destination - Ericeira!
Just 30 minutes from Lisbon airport, this quaint cobble stone lined fisherman village, turned surf and skate hot spot has become the mecca of iconic waves (concrete and water!) and good vibes surrounded by the most pristine nature.
All levels welcome from ultimate beginners to intermediate! We’ll be skating with multiple skateparks with stunning backdrops, learning and fine tuning your skating skills daily with our GRLSWIRL coaches. Surf at some of Europes most legendary waves with local instructors to show you the ropes.
With a small instructor-to-student ratio, our lessons are designed to enhance your skills and confidence on the board. Reinforce your learning with an insightful surf video analysis session, aimed at advancing your surf technique.
What to Expect
- Skate adventures daily to some secret local spots plus iconic skate parks like Hollyskate at Boardriders and the unbeatable Lisbon pump track -- lead by our very own GRLSWIRL team riders and our Lisbon Chapter Leaders!
- 3 morning surf lessons at surrounding beach breaks with local, specialized instructors to guide you on the waves.
- Restoration time with breathwork, hot and cold immersion sessions and yoga.
- Downtime to explore and wander the gorg cobble stoned streets of Ericeira!

About Casa Paço D'Ilhas
Where we are staying! Casa Paço D'Ilhas is located on an elusive hilltop overlooking the world renowned surfbreaks of the Ericeira world surfing reserve on one side and the lush countryside of Santo Isodoro Municipality on the other side.
We are surrounded by the nature and wake up with the sound of the breaking waves when a good swell hits our shores. Yet we are located just a short drive away from Ericeira, a traditional Portuguese fishing village that has been catering for tourism for over eight centuries, but still always managed to maintain its original character, symbolized by its labyrinth of windswept alleys that whisper tales of sea faring adventures.
