Skate Mentorships
From Tijuana to Los Angeles County, we’ve taught hundreds of girls (and young boys!) how to skate, boosted their confidence and given them an activity to feel empowered by.
Fundraiser Events & Parties
Our parties and fundraiser events have raised thousands of dollars for charities like The Venice Boys & Girls Club, Harvest Home LA, Venice Family Clinic, St. Joseph’s Center, and most recently, the NSW Fire Relief Fund. With skate ramps, live bands, local drink sponsors and great food, our community comes for a good cause and stays to party!
Beach Clean-Ups
Venice Beach is our home, and we want to keep it clean! GRLSWIRL has held multiple beach clean-ups on the sands of Venice Beach, where the community joins us in making the world a little cleaner.
Retreats & Day-Long Events
Our Untamed Daughters event this past summer, held with Changing Tides Foundation, brought 20 girls together for a full day of surf, skate, yoga and more. We brought our community together on the sand of Venice Beach, got to know each other better and saw the power of female friendships blossom.
